Great experience
Claire was amazing from start to finish. She helped guide me through options at the trail appointment and gave me some much needed advice. On the wedding day Claire was very calming and efficient working with all the bridesmaids and my mother and they were all delighted with their make up. She fitted right in and helped where needed. The look lasted all day and I cannot recommend Claire enough!

Claire was recommended to me by my friend who had her as her make-up artist on her wedding day, I'm so glad that she did! She is very friendly professional who totally gave me the stunning look that I was hoping to have on my wedding day.
After telling Claire about the look I was wanting and tried 2 different looks on me at my trial and I was very impressed. The morning of my wedding, Claire arrived early in the morning. She also helped me stay calm and relaxed because I knew she was going to give me that amazing look. She did my maid of honor and mum's make-up aswell which they both loved. When struggling to know how to put on my wedding dress the correct way she helped me straight away, which I am very thankful for. My make-up stayed on and my hair stayed in it's bun all day and night. I am so happy that I had Claire as my make-up artist and I would totally recommend her!

I booked Claire to do my hair and make up for my wedding and I have to say she was absolutely fantastic. I had some concerns prior to my wedding day as my hair can be quite thin in places and I obviously wanted to look my best. Claire put my mind at ease as soon as I had my trial and I knew I was in the hands of the perfect person for the job. She was so professional and friendly and I just felt so comfortable and reassured by her. She turned up at the crack of dawn on the day with a huge beaming smile on her face and that smile stayed there the whole time! She is quite simply a wonderful person with exceptional skills, she really knows her craft. I was delighted with the look she created for me on the day and my curls and make up lasted all day long. She stayed in touch throughout the lead up to the wedding and even sent me a few pics she'd taken from the morning of all of us girls getting ready after. I would highly recommend Claire if you're looking for a warm, friendly, professional service from an absolute master in her field. Thank you so much Claire, I couldn't have asked for more.

Claire did my hair and makeup and the makeup for my mother-in-law in May 2023. Right from the very first correspondence, Claire was nothing short of professional and really put me at ease. Claire was recommended to me by the owner of the bridal boutique where I purchased my dress and I am so grateful she was recommended to me!
My hair and make up trial was a lovely experience and I left knowing that Claire had perfectly captured the look I was after (‘glowy’ natural make up and a chignon-type up do). My mother-in-law is not someone who usually wears makeup and she was terrified of looking ‘cakey’ – needless to say, she left our trial feeling like a million dollars! I ended up buying her the lipstick that was used for the big day because she loved it so much! Our looks were replicated perfectly on my big day and my hair and make up stayed put all evening.
If you are looking for someone who is experienced, professional and just generally a lovely person to work with, Claire should be your first choice!

Claire is a very talented and experienced make-up artist. I loved my natural Bridal look and literally couldn't believe (despite my face enduring love, sweat and tears) that it stayed on flawlessly all day and night! It was so lovely to work with Claire on my wedding day, she was such a lovely calming and happy presence on the day and really helped to make the morning as stress-free as possible for me and my bridesmaids! Perfect look for a perfect day!
Claire is a brilliant make-up artist and such a lovely person. I really wanted a natural look for my wedding day, but also wanted to look a little different from ‘normal’. Claire was happy to experiment and show me different looks and advise on the best products and colours to suit me and my skin. My make-up lasted well throughout the whole day. Claire was very calm and a great person to have around during the mad preparations! I would whole-heartedly recommend Claire for future brides. I’m so pleased she could be part of our special day!

So, I already knew how fabulous Claire was after she did my makeup at my sisters wedding when I was a bridesmaid. I booked her in that day for my wedding and started to recommended her to so many couples at Alcott. Now I can speak from a brides perspective after she did an incredible job at my own wedding this year!
The trial went amazingly well and she re captured what she had done then on the big day and when the dress was on I felt a million dollars!

Claire Harmer did my wedding makeup along with my bridesmaids and mum. Claire really listened to what I wanted during the trials and spent the time making sure I was 100% happy. Nothing was too much trouble and Claire was always available if I had any questions. My makeup on the day was amazing and still perfect when I woke up the next day. Claire made us all feel so relaxed on the morning and joined in with all the wedding fun. She really felt like a friend. One of my bridesmaids never wears makeup yet Claire did it and she was so pleased with how it looked! I now stay in touch with Claire and go to her for beauty treatments.

Claire did my hair and makeup for my wedding and she was an absolute delight to work with. She listened to what I was trying to achieve with the look that I had in my head and managed to create the perfect look on the first attempt. She was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and so easy to work with. I don't generally wear make up and I was worried that my face would feel awful - quite the opposite! Claire made me look and feel like a movie star with both my hair and make up. My other concern was that getting married at 11, everything would be a horrible rush and that my make up would all have rubbed off by lunchtime. Again, I couldn't have been more wrong. Claire arrived perfectly to time in the morning, she was calm and professional throughout, she finished me and two of my bridesmaids in perfect time and my make up was as good at midnight as it was at midday. I cannot recommend Claire highly enough.

I live in Australia and got married in the Uk last Christmas Claire was great. She stayed in touch with me while I was in Australia and then when getting to the Uk.
Our venue would not of been the easiest for her to cart all of her equipment around but she still managed without any complaints.
Will be using her again if ever needed a makeup artist while in the Uk.

Claire did my wedding make up and hair and bridesmaids hair in February and she did a fantastic job 😍 I never usually wear make up but she made me look very natural. I received such wonderful compliments all day and from my evening guests , the only complaint was from my husband who had to take all the hair grips out at the end of the night 😂 I would recommend Claire without any hesitation.

It was so easy and reasurring to find somebody who is amazingly talented with both hair and make up. Claire made me feel at ease from the initial contact through to my wedding morning and it felt so relaxed even with 4 women and a 1 year old getting ready! I have no idea when it comes to make up but Claire knew exactly what to advise which resulted in a look I was so happy with and I had so many compliments - even from other make up artists!
