About me
Hi, I’m Claire, a freelance hair and make-up artist based in Warwickshire and throughout the UK with over 20 years of experience. I live in the beautiful town of Alcester, just outside of Stratford – upon – Avon, with my husband and our two children.
Make-up has always been a strong passion of mine. I love being creative and bringing out the best of people’s features and making them feel the best possible version of themselves. I love the opportunity to be creative and experimenting with different looks and techniques.
I work now specialising in bridal and photographic hair and make-up. In the past I have had a range of experience including film make-up, special effects and body painting. Whilst working on film sets and getting stuck into the special effects was lots of fun, bridal and fashion has always been my passion.
My history.
After qualifying in beauty therapy NVQ level 2 & 3, I started off working in a salon offering beauty treatments and make up for special occasions. I always loved doing make up in the salon and soon decided that I wanted to gain more experience in this area. I decided to go to The UK Make-Up School to develop my skills and trained as a hair and make-up artist. Over the years, I have worked on a broad range of projects, developing an advanced skill set and experience, enabling me to provide a high standard make-up service.

During my time in the make-up industry, I have worked on various short films and feature films including BBC's 'Nativity' and a horror film 'The Children'. I have also had work featured in a variety of magazines including Prima, Best and OK magazine, and I was also a finalist in the world body painting competition.

My work now mainly consists of bridal and photo shoots. Why mostly this? Because I LOVE it! It is such a privilege to be part of someone's special day and to make them feel amazing. It is so rewarding, especially when I give the bride a mirror and watch her reaction. With many years of experience and continually updating and learning new techniques and skills I aim to give the best possible service to all my brides and clients.
